How to use Sterile Oropharyngeal swab stick
The oropharyngeal swab is a sampling tool used to extract mucosal cells and secretions from the oropharynx. The sampling method is to use sterile throat swabs and other items to penetrate deep into the pharynx, go through the root of the tongue to the posterior pharynx, tonsil crypts, sidewalls, etc., wipe left and right repeatedly for 3 to 5 times, and gently take out the swab. Then put the swab stained with mucosal cells and secretions into the virus sampling tube and send it for inspection in time.

Instructions

1. The sampler can fix the tongue with a tongue depressor, and use an Sterile Oropharyngeal swab stick to cross the root of the tongue to the posterior pharynx, tonsil recesses, and sidewalls.

2. Wipe repeatedly 3 to 5 times to collect mucosal cells.

3. Take out the swab gently to avoid touching the tongue, pituitary, oral mucosa and saliva.

4. Put the sampling swab with the sample vertically into the virus sampling tube, break the swab at the break and discard the swab tail.

5. Tighten the cap of the tube, put it in a biosafety bag, and send it for inspection in time.
