【 Test principle 】

Formaldehyde can bind to the amino group of the protein and coagulate the protein, so it can be used as a tissue fixative in the examination.

【Main components】

Formaldehyde, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate.

【 Storage Conditions and expiry date 】

1. The unopened reagent is sealed and stored at 2-35℃ for one year.

2. The unsealed reagent is stored at 2-35℃ for three months.

【 Test method 】

The appropriate concentration of fixating solution was selected according to the tissue type and the purpose of the experiment. The tissue specimen was soaked and fixed at room temperature for 2-72h according to the dosage of 5-10 times of the specimen (the fixed time depends on the size of the tissue block and the purpose of the experiment), and the tissue section could be fully rinsed with tap water or buffer solution.

2. Pay attention to ventilation and personal protection when using, and wear conventional laboratory protective equipment (such as gloves, masks, overalls, etc.)
